dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, Latin kaligrafi sanatının dijitalleşme serüvenini; estetik, kültürel kimlik ve teknoloji arasındaki diyalog bağlamında incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Geleneksel el yazması tekniklerinden dijital ortamlara uzanan bu dönüşüm, yeni ifade biçimleri ve kültürel etkileşim alanları yaratmıştır. Araştırma, Latin kaligrafisinin dijital araçlarla (dijital çizim tabletleri, yazılımlar, sosyal medya, NFT pazarı ve yapay zekâ uygulamaları) nasıl yeniden üretildiğini, küresel izleyiciyle buluşma imkânlarını ve kültürel mirasın dijitalleşme bağlamındaki temsil dinamiklerini disiplinlerarası bir perspektifle ele almaktadır. Çalışmada, dijital Latin kaligrafisi örnekleri (NFT eserleri, sosyal medya paylaşımları, dijital sergiler) mevcut ikincil kaynaklar (akademik yayınlar, küratöryel içerikler, dijital arşivler) üzerinden niteliksel bir içerik ve söylem analizine tabi tutulacak; dijitalleşmenin bu sanata etkisi estetik, kültürel temsil, kültürel mirasın korunması/aktarımı ve teknolojik dönüşüm bağlamında değerlendirilecektir. Bu değerlendirme, dijital platformlardaki estetik pratiklerin ve sanatçı/topluluk söylemlerinin sistematik analizine dayanacaktır. Elde edilecek bulguların, dijital araçların kaligrafiyi daha erişilebilir kıldığını ve kültürel kimliğin küresel ölçekte yeniden üretimine olanak sağladığını, ancak orijinallik, el emeğinin değeri ve kültürel özgünlük gibi geleneksel tartışmaları da beraberinde getirdiğini ortaya koyması beklenmektedir. Sonuç olarak, dijital Latin kaligrafisinin yalnızca teknik bir evrim değil, aynı zamanda kültürel kimliğin yerel ve küresel düzlemde yeniden yorumlanmasına katkı sağlayan dinamik bir süreç olduğu argümanı geliştirilecektir. Bu bildiri, geleneksel sanatların dijital geleceğini anlamak isteyen akademisyenler, sanatçılar ve kültür politikası üreticileri için kavramsal bir çerçeve sunmayı hedeflemektedir.
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to examine the digital journey of Latin calligraphy art within the context of a dialogue between aesthetics, cultural identity, and technology. This transformation, extending from traditional manuscript techniques to digital environments, has created new forms of expression and areas of cultural interaction. The research addresses, from an interdisciplinary perspective, how Latin calligraphy is reproduced through digital tools (digital drawing tablets, software, social media, the NFT market, and AI applications), its opportunities to reach a global audience, and the dynamics of representing cultural heritage in the context of digitization. In this study, digital Latin calligraphy examples (NFT artworks, social media posts, digital exhibitions) will be subjected to a qualitative content and discourse analysis based on existing secondary sources (academic publications, curatorial content, digital archives); the impact of digitization on this art will be evaluated within the contexts of aesthetics, cultural representation, the preservation/transmission of cultural heritage, and technological transformation. This evaluation will be based on the systematic analysis of aesthetic practices and artist/community discourses on digital platforms. The findings are expected to reveal that digital tools make calligraphy more accessible and allow for the global-scale reproduction of cultural identity, while also reintroducing traditional debates such as originality, the value of handcraftsmanship, and cultural authenticity. Consequently, the argument will be developed that digital Latin calligraphy is not merely a technical evolution but also a dynamic process that contributes to the reinterpretation of cultural identity on both local and global planes. This paper aims to provide a conceptual framework for academics, artists, and cultural policy makers seeking to understand the digital future of traditional arts.
